Suzie Fares of Peace of Mind Rescue of Cerrillos
A Veterinarian Technician for the past 30 years, Suzie Fares has worked with a diverse group of animals – from equine to our smaller furry friends. She has recused countless animals in both New Jersey and New Mexico. Peace of Mind Rescue is locally located here in Cerrillos, New Mexico, where Suzie works full time for a local veterinarian.
Suzie’s Peace of Mind Rescue is just a budding organization. This allows Suzie to concentrate on one pet at a time. “I am dedicated to rescuing life, even if just one life.” Fostering animals, getting lost dogs back home, or finding adoptive parents for small kittens, Suzie is there. She is also and often the first to be called for microchip checks on lost or found pets (her scanner a recent donation). Suzie has started a Facebook Page dedicated to helping New Mexico animals.
